Preparing for your senior portraits should be as seamless as the session itself. We’ve compiled the most common questions from families in the Dallas and Fort Worth area to help you prepare for an effortless, high-end experience from start to finish.
Don’t worry! We hear that concern a lot. The first step is to show him our website and galleries. He’ll see right away that we aren’t doing the typical senior portraits he’s probably worried about. Our shoots are fun, specialized for guys, and stress-free. By the end of the session most guys are actually loving it.
What the best location is really depends on your senior. Each senior is different and during the planning session we talk with both the senior and the parents to determine the best place to go for their photos. It should be unique to something that means something to them or their personal style.
We have been all over DFW, some times on the sports fields, a park, the city, or even unique locations like a local airport or karate gym.
All of our regular senior sessions are 2 hours. We’ve found this is the sweet spot that gives us enough time to get great images while keeping the senior engaged and not burned out.
We have one of the fastest turn around times in the industry. It takes just 2-3 days from your photoshoot to host your in-home ordering appointment. Depending on what you order, printed artwork arrives back in 3-4 weeks.
We photograph all kinds of seniors with all kinds of interests, hobbies, and sports. There are no limits for us and it’s very exciting when we get something new that we haven’t yet created. So no, they do not have to be athletes. In fact, each year 50% or more of our photoshoots are not athletes.

The best time to book is as soon as you are comfortable that we are the right photographer for you. The sooner you book, the better your chances of getting the date you want and reserving it. The most popular time of year is August through October and late February through April. We book seniors all year, but if you want one of these most popular times, act fast to grab your spot.
Yes we do. Even though our site focuses heavily on guys and athletes, we definitely photograph senior girls too and bring the same fashion style to their photoshoots. You can see more on our Girls Senior Portraits page.
Absolutely! We have been doing this a lot more often the last few years. This is not meant to overshadow your senior’s individual experience, so we carve out just a few minutes to take some stylized family portraits during the senior portraits. Ask us more about this in your free consultation or at your planning session.
Everyone is different so we cover this in detail during your pre-shoot planning meeting. Most seniors bring 2-3 outfits. Usually a mix of one more formal/dressed up look, one relaxed/casual, and one that relates to a sport, hobby, or personality. A college t-shirt from where he’ll be attending is also a great idea.
Every senior session includes the option to add a quick family mini session – a few frames with mom, dad, or the whole family while you’re already there. No extra planning, no separate booking. Just a moment together before he’s off to college. Ask us how to add this to your senior photoshoot

Dallas is home to some of the most recognized private and public high schools in DFW. We’ve photographed senior portraits at Jesuit Dallas, St. Mark’s, Bishop Lynch, and Parish Episcopal with Downtown Dallas remaining one of our most popular session locations.
Southlake is one of our fastest-growing areas for senior portraits. We’ve photographed seniors from Carroll High School, including athletes from the state-champion Carroll Dragons programs.
Prosper High School is one of the campuses we photograph most often for senior portraits. From football, baseball, and basketball to band members and non-athletes, our Prosper senior portraits showcase the full range of senior guys in the area.
McKinney is a standout location for senior portraits. We’ve photographed seniors from McKinney High, McKinney North, and Boyd, capturing both athletic and editorial-style sessions throughout the area.
