STYLE

I guess to even say that I have a 'style' is against my style. I am always evolving and changing. If I had to put a word to my style I would use "Different".

Every wedding that I photograph is one of a kind. I do not pre-plan my photographs for the day, and I do not try to re-use ideas or photograph the same shots at every wedding.

The most important thing that I look for when creating my photos is light. Light can not be planned for. I can go to the same venue five times in one week, and the light will be completely different each time. Because of this, and because I want the images to tell the story of your day, I create my ideas once I am in the space.

Approximately 70% of what I photograph is photojournalism. Capturing moments as they happen and showing the passion of those involved in your day. The remaining 30% is what I like to call creative fashion. This is always changing with the inspiration of the couple that I am working with.

To go into a wedding having everything pre-planned, to me means you are passionless for what you do. That would force you to photograph the wedding like a mindless robot. That is one of the major reasons that I only accept 20 weddings per year. This allows me to stay fresh and excited for what I do.

I am asked many times for suggestions of good locations for your wedding photos. To me, any location can be a great location. I am known for not photographing in the 'typical' locations or parts of locations that everyone else does. I is important that your wedding photos are yours and are unique to you.

I am extremely passionate with what I do. I give 100% and nothing less then that is acceptable on such an important day. I am not just snapping random photos. I am creating one of a kind artwork and memories in physical form to last forever.
