Amanda & Dru’s Stunning Wedding Album – Lackawanna Radisson

I don’t often share the full wedding albums on blog posts, but this album is so stunning that I have to share it. And the couple definitely agreed as they took their entire album design that we presented to them!

This is a 76 page album filled with awesomeness, emotion, family connection, love, and party! The wedding ceremony took place at St. Benedict Church in Wilkes Barre PA with the reception to follow at one of my favorite wedding venues The Lackawanna Station Radisson Hotel in Scranton PA

I know from the fun that we had at their engagement photo shoot that they were going to be so awesome to work with on the wedding day as well.

Below what you will see is that every photo is a two page spread in their wedding album.

STORYBOOK ALBUM SHOWCASE – Brian and Amanada – Radisson Lackawanna Station , Scranton PA

httpv://vimeo.com/33644333
I love this section of the 31 days of 31 posts because it highlights my personal favorite, wedding albums. Digital nonsense as it is this day, one thing that will never go out of style when the next technology comes along, and that is your wedding album. It is a family heirloom that you will pass down for generations. I have seen at events lined on a table the couples engagement album, their parents wedding album, and their grandparents album. That is something special and should be cherished and well invested in.

This album features Brian and Amanda who had their wedding at the Radisson Lackawanna Station in Scranton, PA. It features a beautiful cover design, which is a piece of plexi glass. The plexi glass gives you a peek through the cover to the first page of the album. The leather binding of this book features a magnificent de-bossed flower design in a brown leather. It is great to look at and gives that third dimension when you run your fingers across it.

Parents albums this time? Yup! Our brand new parents albums are awesome. Jaime and George actually had their wedding close to two years ago now, but decided since they didn’t have a lot of time for portraits on their wedding day, that they would do an after wedding session. An after wedding session can be the day after your wedding or months or years after. They can be booked if we photographed your wedding or not. It’s a lot of fun, and a great excuse to get that wedding dress back out and have more fun, either by yourself or with your new husband.

Their after wedding session took place in the Jersey City, NJ area and around Liberty Island area with the great scenic background of New York City. It was a great time that started about an hour before sunset and went into the night. There were also images captured inside of their reception location which was the Westin Jersey City. A beautiful hotel with scenic views. It’s a great hotel for New York City events because you can just jump on the path train that is a small walk away.

They decided at that time to make some parents albums for Christmas gifts for their parents. That is right, if you haven’t yet ordered parents albums from your wedding, you can still do so! We keep the files from your wedding safe forever.

Check out the images below, and look for a post down the road with their new album made with their After Wedding Images as well as some from the wedding. I’ll just tell you now…. it looks amazing!

As always if you like what you see, click on the G +1 button at the top or bottom of the post, and call us about your 2013-14 weddings.

Here is another great album showcase!

This time we are looking at the album of Chris and Nadia and their wedding that took place at Glen Oak Country Club in Clarks Summit, PA

You may remember this is the same couple that I photographed their engagement session in New York City!

Chris & Nadia had a beautiful event at the country club. The morning started with getting ready shots of the bride at her parents house in Clarks Summit. The ceremony took place at Our Lady of Snows in Clarks Summit. We then went back to the bride’s parents house for a hair/makeup change and a small ‘pre-party’, before heading back to the Country Club for portrait time!

The Pete Saunders Band from New York City came on to entertain at the reception. The dance floor was on the patio of the country club and had an added feature of torrential down pour of rain for the entire night! It was raining buckets! But it didn’t damper the mood of anyone and it was a very lively night of dancing all night.

The wedding album featured a beautiful brown lizard style skin. This 56 page album is truly one of a kind. You will be able to see in some of these photos as well some of the features of my albums, such as no break lines in the middle of the book!

Enjoy and of course, get a hold of me to book your 2012-2014 weddings!  www.jeffdietzphotography.com

Hello everyone

I am going to type more about this video in the afternoon so you might see this post update (so check back). But I wanted to post for you a video I did of a recent album of The Nungesser wedding. I just delivered their album a bit ago and it was hard for me to wait until they saw it before posting this video!

This album is a great example of one of my storybook albums. I do the design work for the couple that tells the story of their day. It is much better then a book of random photos. This album they can open whenever they want and relive the story of their wedding.

This wedding took place in Scranton PA at the Scranton Radisson at Lackawanna Station . All of their photos were done either at the Radisson or walking throughout the downtown of Scranton creating images on the spot as we walked.

The album features our very popular plexiglass see thru cover. This is a really neat cover as the first page of the book will shine through the see thru cover! It also features a really beautiful embossed leaf brown leather. As you run your hands over the cover you can feel the embossing on the album. It has a classic look with a new flair to it.

I am going to be posting a lot more videos and photos like this coming soon with people’s albums so you can get a better idea of what I do.

I use the very best album company in the country sparing no expense. I want this album to last forever and be something that you pass to your children and grandchildren. These albums are made with a lot of love by hand by a great album company. I searched for two years before I found this company. Not only do they have really different cover options (as you will see soon), they also allow me to work with page spreads that have no break lines, cut marks or bad gutters in the middle crease of the book, making for a truely lay flat style album.

I hope that you enjoy the album. Leave comments below, and of course, don’t forget to tell your friends to book us for 2012 & 2013!

Jeff

Soooooooo. Ok I know it has been a while since I have blogged, but BOY has it been a busy time lately. I wanted to make a quick post to update you on a few things that have been happening as well as a few teasers of things to come.

MYSTIC 5 – Mystic, CT

This past week I had the pleasure of going to Mystic, CT to learn even more from some of the best wedding photographers in the world. It was great to see photographers again like Jerry Ghionis from Australia, AltF from Las Vegas, David Williams from Australia, DQ Studios, and two time Pulitzer Prize Winner Greg Gibson. It’s really exciting to go to an event several states away and have people recognize me from my work. It was also great chillin with the Circle of 8 group for the week and seeing a lot of old faces.

More importantly is the inspiration that I have come away with from attending. I have several new projects in the works and new ideas for how I want to photograph going into the 2010 wedding season. I can’t wait to get started!

Charitable Project

I am working hard with a large name charity (to be announced later, shhhh), to start a very important charitable project. I can’t go into too many details about it at this time, but I can tell you that it is going to be very cool and I believe will have a large impact locally and nationally as we grow the scope of the project. Stay tuned for more information about this project and how you can get involved!

Weekender Model of the Week

Just a note that you can continue to see my work published each week in the Times Leader: Weekender Model of the Week.

New Website!!

The brand new website is almost complete! I hope to be able to launch it some time this coming week. It is a new site built from the ground up with the wedding couples in mind. You will be able to see my past weddings and even be able to see what vendors the couples used for their weddings. Since I have the priveledge of working with some of the best vendors around, it will make a great resource for you while you are planning your wedding.

2010 Dates

2010 dates are flying fast! There are still spots left and I would love to photograph your wedding! So make sure you give me a call or email and get your wedding booked asap.

TEASERS

I have a few new things on the horizon that I can’t yet speak about but are going to be very exciting! Here are a few hints:

- The introduction of Fine Art Prints

- A better solution to 8×10 prints

- An Engagement Session like you have never seen before!

- The Fashion Bridal Session

- Albums explained. Why they are so important and why a photographer is doing you a disservice if they do not take care in producing this priceless heirloom for you.

- And much more!

2010 is going to be a really fun year and I can’t wait to get started. I can’t wait for the warm weather to whip around especially so that we can get back outside creating awesome photos!

I encourage you to make 2010 your best year yet!
