Kristen and Brian – Featured Grace Ormonde Wedding Style Magazine

Kristen and Brian Featured on Grace Ormonde Wedding Style Magazine Website!

Kristen and Brian on the boardwalk of Atlantic City. One of the images featured on Grace Ormonde

Hello everyone!

I am very happy to announce that we have yet again been featured on the Grace Ormonde Wedding Style Magazine website. Grace Ormonde features some of the best weddings in the world and it is a true honor to be featured on their site. Kristen and Brian’s engagement session took place in Atlantic City, NJ on the boardwalk and beach as well as The Chelsea Hotel.

As you recall, the wedding of Chris and Nadia was also featured on their website, as well as many of my individual images. I was also a member of their Platinum list and named Photographer of the Week. Any time that you can be selected by a company that is held in such high regard it really is an honor. It’s even better that it happens to be with such an amazing and fun couple as Kristen and Brian were. You might recall that story of how the original date for their session was the day before and it rained heavier then I have ever seen and flooded the entrances of most of the hotels. We rescheduled until the next day and had great photos in the early morning fog.

So where can you go to see it all? Well there are several ways, you can go to the main site at . Then on the left click on photo shoots and engagement shoots. There you will see their image featured that you can click on. It looks like this:

You will then see this Awesome Sauce

You can also go directly to it here:

Changes are coming…. and they will be awesome!

So there are a lot of changes coming to my online setups in the next weeks and months (hopefully weeks not months). So as these things are taking place, you might see a few of my online features performing a bit wonky as they change over. For the most part it will likely be more of a visual thing then anything not working.  As some of you may know, I do all of my own website development and design, so it’s definitely a labor of love for me. Here are just a few of those things to keep an eye out for:

1. A brand new look and layout to the blog site will be coming. This will have a different visual look, but more importantly will have a lot of really cool interactive features that I will love for you guys to take advantage of and participate more in the discussion. It will feature a lot of social media interaction with my facebook page , twitter, and my website. The comments section will also be greatly improved and encourage you to join the conversation.

2. A brand new, completely redesigned main website. Their is a technical reason why this is being changed as I move away from one contract with a company to another, but for the most part the answer comes down to Stability. It will be more of an HTML 5 vs Flash website change over which will be more stable for more viewers and less compatibility issues.

3. With the new website design there will also come in a stage two a completely new remodeled mobile phone and tablet versions of the site which might be easier to navigate then the current ones.

4. HTML5 stability. Most people won’t see where this comes into play much, where it doesn’t now, but the big one is on things that were flash based like image slideshows and a few video features. Those will then start to play over more devices with less issues.

5. A couple of new categories to the website. I will be adding in a section all about wedding albums. Since this is one of the key things that I do that so many aren’t doing any more (for some weird reason), I want to show off a lot more of past couples designed albums from the outside and inside.

6. A couple of new features here and there that are yet to be determined but should make the interaction of the site even more user friendly then it already is.

I get so many comments about my website and how informative it is and how full of information and just how cool it looks. So I thank you so much for that, and going forward I think you are going to love it even more with some of the things that I have in mind.

Central Park NY Engagement Session with Roza and Michael

Roza and Michael, what can I say, we had fun! Central Park is always an interesting place to do photos. As you can even see in the photo above in the background, there are always tons of people everywhere you go, no matter what day or time of year. By the skylines and views in Central park are amazing. You get lost in miles of park and almost forget that right across the street is the concrete jungle that is New York City.

These two we also did a small video on the roof top area in down town scranton the next day which you can see on their wedding website by going HERE.

So most of their session was in Central Park but we also stopped near the docks towards the end of their session for some waterfront views.

Enjoy the photos and keep checking back for more, including some of their wedding highlights!

Atlantic City Engagement Session – Beach and The Chelsea Hotel

I had a great time working with Brian and Kristen on their engagement session in Atlantic City, which was actually in 2012. I wanted to post some now though as I will be posting their wedding highlights a bit later as well. I will always remember this session for the day before when we originally had it scheduled for the engagement session it rained some of the heaviest rain I think I have ever seen. It flooded out most of the parking areas and entrances of the casinos including where i was staying.

So we decided to wait and do the session the next day. We started early in the morning which let us work in the awesome fog that was still there from the previous days rain. I loved it. It was like having my own personal natural fog machine. So we wanted to start with carefree and fun photos on the beach like you see above. Playing around on the boardwalk, the beach, and even in the water, it was a lot of fun.

After that, we went into the Chelsea Hotel, had a wardrobe change and switched modes into more of a fashion look. Creating inside the lounge spaces of the Chelsea’s throwback style and on their pool deck area.

Enjoy the photos and look for their Wedding Highlights to be posted soon! Next post will be the engagement session of Roza & Michael in New York Cities Central Park!

Don’t forget to contact us to book your engagement session anywhere in the world that you would like to go!

A surprise proposal in Clarks Summit!

Hey everyone

So this week I am starting to make tons of posts that will come out over the next few weeks. It will be sortof a year in review of the weddings from the past year, engagement sessions, portraits, seniors, and in this case we will be looking at a surprise wedding proposal that I photographed in Clarks Summit.

He got a hold of me early and new that they would both be in the area for a nice dinner out and wanted to first stop at the church that meant something to both of them The Church of St Gregory’s  in Clarks Summit, PA. He had her blind folded on the way and led her to the spot in front of the church that he wanted to pop the question. Off came the blindfold and things moved very fast from there. He asked, and she answered YES!

Check out a few of the photos below. Definitely keep checking back as I will be having a lot of blog posts coming up and showing off some awesome photos that you haven’t seen yet!

And of course, if you are planning a 2014 or 2015 wedding, definitely get a hold of me through my contact page on the website at: or just call me directly at (570) 690-2019
